Internship Program

 

The Bryan & Amanda Bickell Foundation is pleased to offer internships in the Chicago area for individuals seeking academic credit. These positions are unpaid and operate within the guidelines of each university. Internships are offered at two times in the year; summer/fall from May - October and fall/spring from Nov - April. We are currently accepting applications for the summer/fall internship. Candidates will be notified via email if they have been selected for an interview. No phone calls please.

 

Events Internship

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Gift processing and tracking through PayPal and Insightly

• Mail merging and sending of various mailings/emails

• Flyer and poster distribution around Chicago for various events

• Assisting with event logistics including pre and post event duties

• Assist with recruiting items and organizing silent and live auctions items for events

• Returning phone calls/emails for third-party event requests

• Staffing major fundraising events and smaller community based events (A Fetching Affair, Pints for Pits, “Pit Bull” Health Clinic, etc)

• Filing, phone answering and other administration tasks

• Assisting with creating and formatting email marketing through MailChimp

• Assist with social media marketing - twitter, facebook, instagram
